During my visits to Japan, I visited four cities: Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. Tokyo and Osaka felt more lively and modern, while Kyoto and Nara were quieter and more traditional, with historic streets and architecture. Tokyo had the best shopping and city life out of all four cities, with several streets dedicated just to shopping. Osaka felt very similar to Tokyo, except it was more crowded and there fewer things to see. Nara stood out to me the most out of the four cities because of the nature and the crazy amount of free-roaming deers. Each city had something distinct that stood out to me, and they all are places I'd love to visit again!!
